Louis van Gaal is an incredibly boring, risk averse manager who has put Manchester United's chances of qualifying for the group stages of the Champions League in doubt.
He did that by picking Wayne Rooney, dropping Juan Mata, and introducing Marouane Fellaini into the midfield for half an hour. It is as inexcusable as it is predictable.
But it's not only in the Champions League where Van Gaal is holding United back. He also does the same in the Premier League. Against Watford last weekend, United tried to hold onto a 1-0 lead despite not having the players capable of concentrating, having moved to a back three for no good reason, and with more ridiculous substitutions.
It's a waste of time arguing with Van Gaal, because he'll only get sacked should he cost the Glazers more money than they are willing to accept. Against Leicester City they will face a motivated, in-form side ready to batter another opponent.
We've predicted the United line up below. Rooney will obviously start, the defence will probably stay the same after a clean sheet, and Ander Herrera is unlikely to return. Mata might replace Memphis, but don't count on Van Gaal not to do something profoundly wrong.

How do you think they should line up?
