The Guardian has an article about why Louis van Gaal will not change his methods, even if they antagonise the fans. Or rather, he'll only change if he really wants to, not because the crowd is seeing its behind.
And in the Telegraph, Michael Carrick has reinforced that message, by saying that now, under Van Gaal, winning is everything. Because of the disaster of David Moyes, and the poor squad Ferguson left, it's essential United stay in touch at the top while the rebuilding is going on. It makes sense, but it doesn't have to be as dull as it is.
Manchester United have been linked with Danish youngster Emre Mor, and I've never heard of him. I'm still not quite sure I've heard of him. But the Mirror have more details.
In the Manchester Evening News, there are the quotes from last night from Roy Keane on Ashley Young and his diving. He called him a disgrace several times, and didn't think he deserves to be called a Manchester United player. He is entirely correct, and Young needs to stop it. He did for a fair while until recently, so let's hope it's a blip.
