How should Manchester United line up against Wolfsburg in the Champions League?

Manchester United travel to Wolfsburg knowing that victory in the Champions League could be essential to qualify for the knockout stages.

United struggled to break down PSV in the previous Champions League tie, and in West Ham at the weekend, and they have drawn 0-0 five times in their last nine matches. They are clearly struggling for goals, and the blame for that lies mainly with the manager for his conservative approach, but increasingly due to some wasteful finishing from the forwards, who have started to create chances towards the end of games.

An injury crisis is not helping United either, and there was more bad news after the West Ham game. Paddy McNair was subbed with an ankle problem, and Morgan Schneiderlin with a hip problem, so there could be another change in the starting line-up, with both these players doubts. Also out, possibly or definitely are: Ashley Young, Phil Jones, Ander Herrera, Wayne Rooney, Antonio Valencia and Luke Shaw.

TBB Prediction

Subs: Romero, McNair, Borthwick-Jackson, Carrick, Schneiderlin, Pereira, Rashford.
