Although United don't play until Monday evening, Louis van Gaal is delivering his pre-game press conference today. No dossiers, you'll be glad to hear, but we do have a smidge of injury news:
Louis van Gaal tells #MUTV he will "wait and see" over Jones and Blind ahead of facing Preston but Carrick has had a minor setback.

Van Gaal tells reporters that Robin van Persie is carrying a knock and is doubtful for Monday's game. #mufc

Mixed results for the 'get Wayne Rooney back up front' cheerleaders out there. On the one hand, if Van Persie does miss the game, then that opens a space alongside Falcao and/or Wilson; on the other, a missing Blind might well mean Our Glorious Leader has to do another shift in the middle.
TBB's guess? No idea. But let's say ... Wilson and Falcao up front, Rooney in midfield somewhere, and Ander Herrera sent to the store cupboard to get a long weight.
