PSV Eindhoven boss Phillip Cocu thinks that his side's attacking starlet Memphis Depay willl be on the move this summer. The 21-year-old winger has already over a century of appearances for the Dutch club, and made 13 appearances for the Netherlands -- some of them under a certain Mr. L. van Gaal.
In quotes rehashed by the Mirror, Cocu told Sport Express:
"At some point, it becomes clear that he is ready for the next step. And yes, I think he's going to leave PSV after this season."
He also thinks that Depay has the potential to be as good as his compatriot Arjen Robben:
"Whether he can be as good as Arjen Robben? I think so. They are different players, but they are both fast and have a good shot. And both always have the urge to learn."
Of course, nowhere is the possibility of Depay joining Manchester United mentioned, but the media have spent the last few hours putting oranje and oranje together and claiming Louis van Gaal is set for a summer swoop. TBB won't pretend to have seen much of Depay, though by all accounts, he's a very exciting prospect. And some more attacking width certainly wouldn't go amiss.
