Recent weeks have suggested Louis van Gaal is planning on giving Adnan Januzaj a little more game time over the second half of the season, with the Belgian international having started in Manchester United's last couple of games. However, after reportedly rejecting a loan move from Paris Saint-Germain, van Gaal will now have to decide on whether to let Januzaj leave on loan to Everton.
That's according to a report in the Manchester Evening News, who claim Toffees boss Roberto Martínez is looking to complete a deadline day swoop for the young winger. Rather more audaciously, they claim that if the Spaniard doesn't get what he wants today, he's going to try and sign Januzaj in a permanent deal in the summer.
It might just be us, but selling a top young asset to a notoriously spendthrifty team doesn't really sound like a realistic proposition. The deadline day madness already seems to be hitting hard.
