The Premier League's having a midweek round of fixtures, and ahead of Manchester United's visit to Newcastle tomorrow, Louis van Gaal has good news about the squad. Unless you like Michael Carrick or Robin van Persie that is: the latter is crocked, while the former is too recently uncrocked to be risked.
Louis van Gaal tells #MUTV that Robin van Persie is United's only current injury, but adds it's too soon to say how long he'll be out for.

Once again, then, the striker question rears its head. At this stage, this aspect of tBB is very much in favour of seeing Wayne Rooney and James Wilson given the job — if United go with a two — simply because they're the only two that seem certain to be at the club next season, and so might as well start getting used to working together. Plus, Wilson's quick. And quick is both good and fun, which United really aren't at the moment.
