Remember all those injuries Manchester United had at the beginning of the season? Remember how they all went away and that was nice? Well, they're back, and just in time for the most difficult game going.

Oh dear.
So, it's reshuffle time! If Van Gaal decides to keep the same formation, then we'd guess at a back four of Antonio Valencia, Chris Smalling, Luke Shaw and one of Paddy McNair or Tyler Blackett. Alternatively, and depending on Shaw's fitness, Valencia could switch over to the left and Rafael could return at right back. No, no, probably not.
Ahead of them, the absence of Carrick and his obvious replacement Blind means ... well, it could mean anything. we could see either Ander Herrera or Marouane Fellaini drop back to the base of midfield, though given the big Belgian's recent effectiveness as a forward option we'd lean towards the Spaniard. Wayne Rooney ended up in that position last weekend, we note with a certain sense of dread.
Alternatively, we might see some kind of switch in formation, we could mean anything. TBB has a funny feeling that we might be set for the triumphant return of the back five, but that might just be the Friday blues. Your guesses in the comments, please.
Update: WE WERE JOKING
