If the reports and rehashed reports are to be believed, one of Manchester United's big summer targets is PSV Eindhoven's young winger Memphis Depay.
This is certainly with good reason: Ashley Young has had an excellent season at Old Trafford, but he's now 29 and is never going to drag United back up to European elite status. Depay, by contrast, is but 21 years old, and appears to have the potential to be a top class player. What's more, his manager has all but confirmed he'll be off in the summer.
Alas, it's not just United who are in the race to sign Depay. News reaches us from the Daily Mail's Rob Draper today that Parisian powerhouse PSG are also keen on signing the young Dutchman, and have made a significantly better offer than the third party in the bidding war, Liverpool.
Let's hope the Louis van Gaal factor and opportunity to play in the Premier League swings it for Depay, because otherwise, this could be a tough fight to win.
