Well, we went from reports to confirmation in record time. Manchester United and PSV have both announced that Memphis Depay will move from the latter to the former this summer, for a fee generally estimated to be around £22m:

Pending the successful completion of the medical, the deal will go through once the transfer window opens in June.

Given how late most of United's business happened last season, this is thoroughly refreshing. And while tBB makes no claim to be an Eredivisie expert, those that are have spent quite some time extolling the virtues of the attacker. Quick, strong, and good at kicking it in the goal, apparently, to the tune of 27 goals in 38 appearances last season. All things that United could very much do with.
Now, let's hope he's a Ruud van Nistelrooy rather than a Jordi Cruyff ...
Update: here are a couple of pieces on Depay Memphis (preferred, apparently) by Dutch journalist Elko Born, one in the Mirror and one over on Stretty News.
