How will Manchester United start 2015/16?

We're told Manchester United and Louis van Gaal want to have transfers settled early in the summer, so each week we'll have a look at how United might start the next season.

Because of the sheer heft and breadth of rumours over the last week, we've had a look at which are the most believable and which are worth taking a punt on. The Gareth Bale and David de Gea rumours have been quiet this week, but there's no reason to think the transfers won't go ahead.

Morgan Schneiderlin could be swapped for Ilkay Gundogan, Bastian Schweinsteiger or a few others, but he does fit the profile of being young enough and used to the Premier League, and there's no indication that Angel Di Maria is being forced out of the door by Louis van Gaal or anyone else. In defence, Nicolas Otamendi and Dani Alves are the favourites to sign.

Memphis Depay may begin on the bench, but the hope, if not the expectation, will be that he can usurp Ashley Young over the course of a season. There have been a few strikers linked, too, but none of Karim Benzema, Gonzalo Higuain and the others are significantly - if at all - better than Wayne Rooney when he's just being a striker.

Anyway, here's the predicted XI, and feel free to add yours below using this tool (you'll have to snip yours and upload it as an image).
