Manchester United target Harry Kane, Ilkay Gundogan yet to decide future

Manchester United are struggling to persuade Tottenham Hotspur to sell Harry Kane and Hugo Lloris, and Borussia Dortmund's Ilkay Gundogan is yet to decide on joining United.

Good morning. This short blog is sponsored by Aperol Spritz.

The Manchester Evening News has some quotes from Ilkay Gundogan saying he'll not be considering his future until next week. He's been linked with Manchester United, Bayern Munich and Barcelona, and the latest news is that United sponsor bwin appeared to announce his move to United on Twitter, and the week before last a Barcelona-friendly journalist said he'd not be joining Barcelona. Gundogan and Morgan Schneiderlin certainly beats Carrick and Fellaini. But he'll probably just join Real Madrid, and you can read the MEN news here.

The Mirror has plenty on United. Javier Hernandez wants to go back to Real Madrid, Mario Mandzukic, linked to Old Trafford, is wanted by Juventus, Petr Cech looks set for a move to Arsenal, and here is the link.

It also seems like there's something in the rumours linking United to Harry Kane. He's better than Wayne Rooney, because he's not falling apart and losing his talent at an alarming rate, and United are also linked to Hugo Lloris. It's apparently not going to be that easy to get them from Spurs. No surprise there.
