Manchester United want Bastian Schweinsteiger and Seamus Coleman as well as Morgan Schneiderlin

Manchester United expect to sign Morgan Schneiderlin this week, but that might not be the end of the business, with Everton's Seamus Coleman, Ajax's Jasper Cillessen and Bayern Munich's Bastian Schweinsteiger also lined up before the season stars.

In the Mail, Juan Mata continues to be bloody lovely, describing Javier Hernandez as a man he admires, and showering him in compliments. He wants Hernandez to stay, despite his poor season at Manchester United, followed by an uneven spell at Real Madrid. There are worse second strikers to have, certainly. You can read that here.

In the Manchester Evening News, there's an article suggesting that it is not a choice for United between Bastian Schweinsteiger and Morgan Schneiderlin. Instead, United and Louis van Gaal are realistic about what needs to be done to the squad, and the midfield, and both are being targeted. That's here.

In the Sunday People, there's right-back news, which we all know is the most exciting type of news in the world. Having been diddled by Dani Alves, and deciding that Nathaniel Clyne isn't for him, attention supposedly turned to Fabinho. Now, it's Seamus Coleman of Everton who is the target. It's not long until pre-season training starts, and you can read up on this story by clicking the red-coloured 'here' here.

According to the Mirror, United have offered more than forty million pounds for Sergio Ramos, and are willing to keep David de Gea for the last year of his contract if Real don't cough up the required record offer for the goalkeeper. There are also rumours that United will now go after Jasper Cillessen despite this posturing. Anyway, the Ramos story is here.

The Star report that Edinson Cavani could be swapped for Angel Di Maria. But that sounds like rubbish.
