Morgan Schneiderlin is training with Southampton's Under-21 side as United and his current club iron out the details of the transfer fee and how it is structure. Ronald Koeman, the Southampton manager, has said they are yet to receive a serious offer. That could well be correct, but all that should be resolved by the end of the week. You can read that here, in the Mirror.

The Daily Mail is running a story saying Sergio Ramos's agent has said it is too late for Real Madrid to now persuade the defender to stay. It really does appear that he's burning his bridges at the club and trying to force a move - but it looked like that was the case with Dani Alves, too. You can have a look at the story here.

Seamus Coleman is now the main target for United at right-back, and Roberto Martinez is lining up some clown from Leeds United to play in his stead. Everton want £20 million, United have £20 million. Let's not have a carry-on over this. You can find out the details in the Telegraph.

Right, that was a short one. More tomorrow. Or not.
