The Guardian report that Rafael da Silva is leaving Manchester United for Galatasaray - you can read the report here.
Rafael is something of a cult hero for Manchester United after squaring up to Carlos Tevez when they met in an early clash between the two sides when they were both any good, and coming off the better of the two.
He further cemented his reputation when he ploughed through Maxi Rodriguez and Steven Gerrard in retaliation for Jamie Carragher's shameful tackle on Luis Nani, and Nani's even more shameful tears in response.
He also became more brilliant when he scored an equalising goal for Manchester United against Liverpool in a 2-1 victory.
And then again, when he celebrated with Patrice Evra in front of Luis Suarez.
Under David Moyes he suffered a relapse in poor form, and under Louis van Gaal his injuries and defensive indiscipline meant he never got the trust of the new manager, and with Matteo Darmian arriving, there is no place left for him in the squad. He remains a hero.
