Karl-Heinz Rummenigge has confirmed that Manchester United and Bayern Munich have agreed a transfer for German international midfielder Bastian Schweinsteiger.

Manchester United can expect to carry out a medical soon on Schweinsteiger as he has now returned from holiday where he watched Wimbledon and wore a terrible baseball cap.

United should have new signings Schweinsteiger, Memphis Depay and Matteo Darmian - who is due to complete his own medical after his move from Torino - on board for the pre-season tour of the US, with a new goalkeeper and Southampton midfielder Morgan Schneiderlin possible further additions before the start of the season.
