In the Mirror there's a story that Rafael's agent has explained that Manchester United are in talks for Benfica winger Nicolas Gaitan. Gaitan has long been linked with United, and now there is a reason to go for him. United have nobody of merit who plays on the right wing, with Juan Mata an adept wide player now, rather than a player who can carry the ball at pace. It doesn't mean that he can't play on the right - he had some impressive moments for United last year, but in terms of two players per positions, United need another on the wing. Rafael could move the other way, and you can read about that here. Have a look here.
What might be linked to that move is the rumour that Angel Di Maria is wanted by Paris Saint-Germain, who are now far less constricted by Financial Fair Play which, let's be honest, journalists never really got their head around anyway. Laurent Blanc seems to think there are several clubs after him, and you can read his quotes in the Daily Mail here.
Victor Valdes's agent seems to think that the rumoured move to Turkey is not going to happen. Incidentally, Ronaldinho also failed to move to Antalyaspor as rumoured, and now it seems Valdes won't be either. The quotes are on Goal, here.
Over on ESPNFC, James Horncastle has written the most informative piece (in English) on Matteo Darmian's character, which can be read here and is well worth your time.
