How much will Manchester United's new signings earn?

With the departure of Radamel Falcao, Robin van Persie and Luis Nani, Manchester United have been able to give generous wages to Morgan Schneiderlin, Matteo Darmian, Bastian Schweinsteiger and Memphis Depay.

A report in the Telegraph has listed the wages of Manchester United's new signings.

Last season it was said that United were offering the highest wages around as they looked to make up for the relative lack of attraction in playing for a side that was without European football after a disastrous David Moyes season, but it seems that with the new £750 million Adidas deal and a bumper new television rights agreement, United are continuing to fritter beans at an impressive rate. Here are the details:

Memphis Depay joined from PSV, and Morgan Schneiderlin joined from Southampton, and both those players are reported to be on £150,000 a week.

Matteo Darmian joined from Torino to earn £100,000 a week, a tripling in his previous wages.

Bastian Schweinsteiger was presumably impressed by the financial security of signing with United, gaining a three-year contract at £220,000.

They earn almost as much as we do at the Busby Babe.
