Manchester United's second pre-season friendly in America takes place tonight as they take on the San Jose Earthquakes, who somewhat predictably come from San Jose.

David de Gea is likely to make his first appearance of the new season after recovering from a minor injury, and with the squad the same as left Manchester for the tour, the teams will probably be fairly similar. Because of the size of the squad, every player should manage to play a half, with a couple of exceptions.

Marouane Fellaini may not feature because his ban at the start of the season means it is less urgent to get him up to speed, with new signings Bastian Schweinsteiger and Morgan Schneiderlin again expected to feature in midfield at some point. Sean Goss, the United youngster, is also the least likely to feature due to his age.

The match is another option for Louis van Gaal to get his players up to speed and settled in their real positions, something he was unable to do for much of last season.

The Busby Babe will have the quotes from the post-match press conference soon after the game, along with some exclusive photos.
