Manchester United take on Barcelona in the most mouthwatering of their preseason fixtures in California on Saturday night, with Louis van Gaal's side getting their first test against strong European opposition after wins over Club América and the San Jose Earthquakes.
Van Gaal has confirmed that goalkeeper David de Gea should start between the sticks after missing the first couple of friendlies with an injury. Antonio Valencia is also back available, though it remains to be seen if he'll displace Matteo Darmian in the starting lineup.
Bastian Schweinsteiger will not play thanks to a knock, while van Gaal has confirmed Ángel Di María won't play either thanks to a lack of fitness (or an imminent move to Paris Saint-Germain?). That should also mean both Javier Hernández and Marcos Rojo miss out too after their extended holidays.
