Javier Hernandez has been linked with a move to West Ham. With West Ham's best forward, Enner Valencia, out for a serious amount of time with a knee injury, they need a new striker to partner Diafra Sakho. There's Andy Carroll, obviously, but he is always injured. The Mirror have a story here, and while Hernandez clearly isn't fist choice at United, his sale would leave United oddly short of strikers for the season.

Barcelona's manager Luis Enrique says that Pedro does want to leave the club. According to most reports, he wants to join United, it's just a matter of time until a fee is agreed. The Manchester Evening News has the Enrique quotes here, and Andy Mitten has more detail in his ESPNFC blog.

According to reports in Kicker (carried by the Telegraph), Manchester United made another bid for Thomas Muller, around £50 million. Karl-Heinz Rummenigge has hinted as much, saying:

"Muller is not for sale. Our English colleagues seem to be unable to spend all of their money.

"It's difficult. Everyone knows our old friend Louis van Gaal. He is very stubborn in those things.

"Maybe he thinks that there is a price where Bayern will start to ruminate but there is no price at all."
