Manchester United take on Aston Villa tonight. On a Friday!

The game has been moved to an evening kick-off by West Midlands Police because Saturday sees an EDL march which most of their officers will be attending. Some of them will be policing the event, but given the nature of the police in Britain you would expect most of them are joining their fellow racists on the march itself.

So far, no British police officer has ever been convicted of murder while on the job, which speaks to the remarkable probity and integrity of the force, or perhaps the absolute corruption and collusion between the state and its main tool of repression.
