Manchester United, according to the Mail, are lurking for Everton defender John Stones. Chelsea have been open in their interest this summer, much to Everton's annoyance, but there is increasingly a sense that should Chelsea have a bid accepted by Chelsea, then United will be willing to match the bid and try to persuade Stones - who is rumoured to be a United fan - to remain in the north. Manchester City are also said to hold an interest in the player.
United have again been linked with a move for Lucas Biglia, according to the only-rarely correct Tancredi Palmeri, who claims that the side have bid £22ish million (or 30 million euros) to Lazio for the player. This doesn't make any sense at all, unless they're preparing to sell Michael Carrick or Marouane Fellaini - we can but hope.
As mentioned in a longer story on the Busby Babe, Manchester United have made a second bid for Thomas Muller of Bayern Munich, and the German wants to join. That's according to the Express.
Right, that's your lot.
