Wayne Rooney looks set to miss out on Manchester United's clash against Liverpool on Saturday at Old Trafford.

Rooney reportedly has a tight hamstring, and various reports say that he either faces a late fitness test this morning to see if he can take part, or that he is already a doubt for the midweek Champions League match against PSV.

Should he be unfit, United can expect to start with Marouane Fellaini in attack, with the rest of the side probably unchanged - meaning Ander Herrera will play behind him.

New signing Anthony Martial could begin on the bench, and James Wilson may feature after not being sent on loan this week, as was widely expected.

Match date/time: Saturday 12 September, 5.30pm local/712.30 pm ET

Venue: Old Trafford, Manchester

TV: In the UK, you'll be able to watch on Sky Sports 1 and listen on Radio 5 Live. Across the Atlantic you'll need to turn that dial to NBCSN (or NBC Deportes, should your tastes run towards the Spanish language end of things).

Online: SkyGo in the UK, NBC Sports Live Extra on the Other Side. For TV/online listings in other countries, head over to LiveSoccerTV.
