Wayne Rooney will not travel to the Netherlands with Manchester United's squad for their first 2015/16 Champions League group stage match against PSV.
Rooney suffered a hamstring injury in training before the Liverpool game and sat out that match, and he will not be risked in United's first group stage match in two seasons.
Anthony Martial, Memphis, Andreas Pereira, Paddy McNair and James Wilson are all being taken with the senior players in the squad, with Wilson not yet sent on loan, presumably because Rooney's injury means there will be no risks taken in depleting attacking options.
David de Gea also travels after signing a new five-year contract.
Manchester United's travelling squad: David De Gea, Sergio Romero; Daley Blind, Matteo Darmian, Paddy McNair, Marcos Rojo, Luke Shaw, Chris Smalling, Antonio Valencia; Michael Carrick, Ander Herrera, Andreas Pereira, Morgan Schneiderlin, Bastian Schweinsteiger, Juan Mata, Ashley Young; Memphis Depay, Marouane Fellaini, Anthony Martial, James Wilson.
