Alex Ferguson could help Ryan Giggs manage Manchester United

Alex Ferguson and Ryan Giggs could replace Louis van Gaal at Manchester United.

Another story in the press, indicating that Louis van Gaal still isn't quite safe. If Ryan Giggs were to come in as manager, says the Mirror, then Alex Ferguson will lend him a hand. Hmmm, sounds like they're still making arrangements should it all go terribly.

Leicester want Andreas Pereira on loan from United for the next six months. Let him go! That's in the Mail.

The Telegraph have something about Van Gaal's touchline style. You could correctly surmise that the whole weekend's written offerings are next to nothing.

In the Manchester Evening News, there's a story so boring I can't bring myself to describe it.

The Guardian have something on Jose Mourinho's future, which isn't immediately at United. Perhaps there will come a time in the future when Ferguson and Bobby Charlton are no longer meddling, and United will be allowed to appoint the best available manager.

Anyway, Liverpool vs United. Hold onto your butts.
