Remember when Steven Gerrard got sent off? Good times, great days.
Anyway, just a couple of days after collapsing defensively against Newcastle, Manchester United are off to Anfield to take on Liverpool in what's sure to be a calm, controlled affair. For about three seconds. A win here, preferably one with a little style, and United can write off that midweek nonsense as just a weird blip. A loss, let alone a heavy one, and things could get very messy indeed.
United will be without long-term crocks Luke Shaw, Antonio Valencia and Marcos Rojo, and Nick Powell is also missing. Bastian Schweinsteiger, Phil Jones and Michael Carrick will all have their fitness assessed close to the game. Liverpool are missing almost all their strikers, which is only going to make their crushing victory all the more irritating. Enjoy!
