The lineups are out for Manchester United's big clash against Liverpool at Anfield, and the big news is that Juan Mata has been omitted from Louis van Gaal's starting lineup.
Instead, Marouane Fellaini, Ander Herrera and Jesse Lingard all start in midfield; the latter's presumably out on the right, with Herrera playing in the hole.Perhaps United's best performance all season came with Herrera playing off the striker, so perhaps there's a teeny, tiny reason for optimism in spite of Fellaini's presence.
For Liverpool, Lucas Leiva has come into midfield for some extra steel, with Joe Allen left out. Roberto Firmino has, as expected, been preferred to Christian Benteke up top. Let the fun begin!
