Manchester United one, Liverpool lost.
Manchester United were largely awful against Liverpool on Sunday, as you can read about in Jack Sargeant's match report, and the only bright spots were David de Gea's recent improvement, Wayne Rooney's sudden competence, and the emergence of Cameron Borthwick-Jackson as a sold, if unspectacular, member of the first team squad.
Rooney's winner was Manchester United's only shot on target, and it recalled some of the best scousebusting, such as John O'Shea's late winner after Paul Scholes was sent off for raising his chops to Jamie Carragher.
