Adnan Januzaj is expected to be back in the squad against Southampton. Jesse Lingard is the player at risk from being dropped - Marouane Fellaini should be, too, but won't be - so he could be back in action relatively soon. You can read about that in the Guardian.

In the Mirror, United have a trophy! Glory, glory! United will apparently reach the top of football's rich list. Just not anywhere near the best on the pitch, so questions might be asked of Ed Woodward by fans, if not the owners.

According to ESPN, Edinson Cavani approached United about joining from PSG, and they're considering a bid for him. If he was used as a central striker, it would be a move to benefit both parties, but United have Louis van Gaal as a manager so he'll probably end up as a central defender.

And the Telegraph's transfer round-up includes a story that United are close to the signing of Felipe Anderson of Lazio. Let's see.
