According to the Mirror, Manchester United are worried that Ryan Giggs would leave if he wasn't made manager when Louis van Gaal is sacked. What? Doesn't make it doubly appealing to get rid of that poison along with a manager less capable than David Moyes?

The Telegraph think that United would replace David de Gea, should he leave, with Barcelona goalkeeper Claudio Bravo. Erm. Van Gaal isn't going to have any more say in transfers, so hard to say why this story should be regarded with anything but massive scoffing. SCOFF.

Andy Mitten, on ESPNFC, say that Manchester United fans have had enough of Van Gaal. How nice of them to catch up with the more perceptive ones.

The Manchester Evening News thinks that United have not given up on securing Pep Guardiola next season. He's almost certain to join Manchester City, but United do at least have to try.

The Daily Mail have linked United with Matt Miazga. He's a 20-year-old central defender who plays for New York Red Bulls, and an information you have on him, please stick in the comments,
