We can squint at the league table all we like, but if Manchester United are going to win some silverware this season, it's going to come in the cups. The Europa League will crank back into life next season, but tonight, it's domestic matters that concern us, as United travel to Derby County in the fourth round of the FA Cup.
It'll be nice to have a bit of actual football after the week of testiness, briefing, counter-briefing, resignation, non-resignation and snark that we've had. And we expect that feeling to last, ooh, about two minutes, at which point Marouane Fellani will watch the ball clank off his shin and we'll all sigh in unison.
We've a full preview here. In injury news, Bastian Schweinsteiger, Phil Jones and Matteo Darmian will all likely be missing, but Michael Carrick might make a return. There's also the possibility that Adnan Januzaj might get his first start since returning from Germany. Won't that be nice.
