Manchester United have been linked with a transfer for yet another forward in the January transfer window.
United have already been linked with Sadio Mane of Southampton, and Real Madrid's Gareth Bale, and now it seems that Oumar Niasse of Lokomotiv Moscow is another potential target.
According to a report in the Guardian, United are one of several clubs - including Chelsea and Spurs as well - who have scouted the player this season.
United's Wayne Rooney has had an awful season, scoring a handful of goals and until recently, has not been able to kick or control a ball properly. His marginal improvement in competence has not convinced his club that they do not need an alternative in attack. Will Keane has returned on loan from Preston North End, but he is inexperienced.
James Wilson is on loan at Brighton, Memphis has struggled for form almost as much as Rooney has, and Anthony Martial has been used on the left wing despite his obvious superiority to Rooney, meaning a move for Niasse would make some sense.
