There is still six weeks to go before the January transfer window opens, but that hasn’t stopped Manchester United from being linked with several top players from around Europe.
Here are the latest rumours of incomings and outgings at Old Trafford.
Moussa Dembélé - Celtic
The 20-year-old French striker has earned rave reviews for his displays with Celtic this season, following a summer move from Fulham.
Dembélé bagged a hat-trick against the Bhoys’ bitter rivals Rangers in a 5-1 win in September, and has been linked with a move to Barcelona.
The Daily Mail claims that United sent a scout to watch the striker play for the France under-21s against England earlier this week, a game in which he bagged a brace.
Andrea Belotti - Torino
Torino’s 22-year-old hot-shot Andrea Belotti is the top-scoring Italian in Serie A so far this season with eight goals in 10 games.
The former Palermo striker made his Azzurri debut in September and has already racked up three goals in five caps for Giampiero Ventura’s men.
The Express has piggy-backed on Gazzetta dello Sport’s claim that United are weighing up a move for Belotti; they believe Torino will demand at least £43 million for their star man.
André Silva - Porto
Portuguese striker André Silva has burst onto the scene this season with nine goals in 14 games. The 21-year-old has also impressed at international level, netting four times in his five appearances for the European Champions.
The Sun is reporting that Red Devils boss José Mourinho is smitten with Silva, and the fact that both men are clients of "super agent" Jorge Mendes could aid negotiations should United make an offer for the Porto star.
But Silva’s €60 million buyout clause could prove prohibitive to any move to Old Trafford in the near future.
Memphis Depay - Man Utd to Juventus
Dutch winger Memphis Depay has been somewhat of an outcast at Old Trafford this season, and has failed to live up to his billing following a £26 million move from PSV Eindhoven in 2015.
The 22-year-old was recently linked with a January loan to Everton. The Sun believes Juventus could make a move for Depay if their bid for Real Madrid’s James Rodríguez fails.
