With Henrikh Mkhitaryan and Anthony Martial both ruled out, Jose Mourinho has named Wayne Rooney and Juan Mata in his Manchester United line-up to face Crystal Palace at Selhurst Park tonight.
Eric Bailly will start in a Premier League game for the first time since sustaining a knee injury against Chelsea in October; it appears that either he or Phil Jones will line up at right-back in the absence of Antonio Valencia, while Daley Blind takes over from Matteo Darmian on the left of the back four.
The Red Devils’ midfield trio remains unchanged from Sunday’s 1-0 win over Tottenham Hotspur and Bastian Schweinsteiger has been named among the substitutes.
With rumours of January moves away from the club, Memphis Depay and Morgan Schneiderlin have again been left out of the matchday squad.
