Manchester United have to overturn a 2-1 deficit against Midtjylland if they are to progress to the next round of the Europa League. There is no news as to whether United are going to charge their fans £71 for a ticket, which would at least be mildly amusing. Not that it's the fans' fault, of course.
United have an enormous injury list, which we can now just list as it's easier: Will Keane, Jesse Lingard, Cameron Borthwick-Jackson, David de Gea, Wayne Rooney, Matteo Darmian, Marouane Fellaini, Adnan Januzaj, Phil Jones, Ashley Young, Bastian Schweinsteiger, Marcos Rojo, Antonio Valencia and Luke Shaw. Would that team be better than the one United can currently field?
Anyway, it'll be hugely exciting to watch the game tonight, but it's almost certain that Louis van Gaal will remain in the job regardless of any result in the realms of possibility. A 500-0 defeat would probably do for him.
