How should Manchester United line up against Arsenal?

Which players, formation and tactics should Manchester United use in their Premier League match against Arsenal?

Let's get the injury list out of the way:

Those who have a knock and are in with a chance of playing against Arsenal include David de Gea, Chris Smalling, Cameron Borthwick-Jackson, Adnan Januzaj and Anthony Martial.

Those who will almost certainly not play are Will Keane, Wayne Rooney, Matteo Darmian, Marouane Fellaini, Phil Jones, Bastian Schweinsteiger, Antonio Valencia and Luke Shaw.

Assuming everyone who has a chance of playing does, then Anthony Martial should feature as a striker, with Marcus Rashford on the substitutes' bench. Smalling will be joined by Guillermo Varela, Marcos Rojo and Daley Blind in defence, in front of De Gea.

Michael Carrick could replace one of Ander Herrera and Morgan Schneiderlin in midfield, but Carrick played in central defence on Thursday, he might not be up to playing more than one game in a week these days.

With all this in mind, it's obvious that the prediction is largely a guess.

tBB prediction:

Subs: Romero, McNair, Borthwick-Jackson, Pereira, Carrick, Januzaj, Rashford
