How should Manchester United line up against Chelsea?

Which tactics and players do you think Manchester United should use in their Premier League game against Chelsea?

Manchester United take on Chelsea with the news seemingly set to be confirmed that their former manager, Jose Mourinho, will take over from Louis van Gaal in the summer.

United have six injuries to contend with before they choose their team to play at Old Trafford. Marcos Rojo, Luke Shaw and Antonio Valencia are all long term injuries, but they are currently joined by Ashley Young, Bastian Schweinsteiger and Phil Jones - Jones is the only player who may make a return this weekend.

Van Gaal is often reluctant to change a winning team, it seems this season, and so Michael Carrick and Marouane Fellaini will likely keep the same front six. Wayne Rooney's return to goalscoring form has been remarkable, but more surprising was his ability to pass to players on his team when they beat Stoke on Tuesday. Juan Mata was afforded the space to operate, as were Anthony Martial and Jesse Lingard either side of him, so expect them to start again. Facing John Obi Mikel should be a tougher proposition than Ibrahim Afellay, mind.

In defence, Matteo Darmian, Cameron Borthwich-Jackson, Daley Blind and Chris Smalling should make up the back four in front of David de Gea.

Please note that the question is for you to discuss, whereas we simply provide you with our guess on what will actually happen. We are disappointed we've had to point this out, but nevertheless believe we can move on in harmony together.
