How should Manchester United against Liverpool in the Europa League

Which formation, players and tactics should Manchester United use in their Europa League game against Liverpool tonight?

Manchester United could call on both Bastian Schweinsteiger and Antonio Valencia as they make their return to fitness from long-term injuries, though both would likely feature on the subs' bench rather than play from the start in the first leg tie against Liverpool in the Europa League. That's a long sentence, isn't it?

Adnan Januzaj and Jesse Lingard are both unavailable for the clash. Lingard is suspended, and Januzaj is cup-tied after his European football involvement with Borussia Dortmund earlier in the season while on loan in Germany.

Phil Jones is close to match fitness, but will not be risked against Liverpool. United's crock list now extends to Cameron Borthwick-Jackson, Will Keane, Wayne Rooney, Ashley Young and Luke Shaw.

The United team should be a fairly familiar one, then, with the team relatively settled, and not very good at winning matches.

tBB prediction:

Subs: Romero, Valencia, Varela, Carrick, Fellaini, Schweinsteiger, Pereira
