Manchester United will play West Ham United in the FA Cup this afternoon as they look to crash out in yet another tournament after another impressively shit performance.

We have team news and a discussion with a West Ham fan elsewhere on the site, but realistically there is just no point. Louis van Gaal is now a bad manager, most of our players are playing badly. West Ham are not playing badly and their manager is not bad. Manchester United will be forced to stick out the rest of the season though, because Ed Woodward, the Glazers, Alex Ferguson, Ryan Giggs and Van Gaal are all taking part in a multi-layered, internecine struggle. There is no point. Go outside, stay inside, whatever you want, but try to spend your time with a loved one, read a book, or just do something edifying and don't watch this miserable spectacle.
