The Mirror have a transfer rumour linking Michail Antonio to Manchester United. The West Ham winger has adjusted well to the step up from the Championship to the Premier League, and he seems a confident bloke. There's little about him that suggests he should be the target this summer, though.
According to the Daily Mail, Wayne Rooney will be back before the end of the season, but he's not going to be back in time for the Europa League matches against Liverpool. So at least there's some good news, because we all know he takes about seven years to get back up to form after an injury.
Some better news for United is that Luke Shaw will also be back before the end of the season, and will soon be back to training. It'll take him a fair while to readjust, so it's lucky there's nothing left to play for until August. You can read about that in the Telegraph.
According to Le Sport 10, Zlatan Ibrahimovic is convinced that he will be joining Manchester United in the summer. He would fit the superstar Ed Woodward wants, and allow Rooney to perfect his Mandarin while bathing in money. Let's get it done. There's an English summary of this story in the Manchester Evening News.
ESPNFC carry a story where Louis van Gaal says United need nine wins from nine matches in the league - oddly this isn't him announcing his resignation in the face of that requirement.
