Manchester United have made a rather unconvincing attempt at burying the bad news of yesterday's defeat with the unveiling of next season's Adidas away kit. It's blue, though we already knew that was going to be the case after they released a tantalising sneak peak last week.

As you can see from the photo and video above, it's no ordinary plain blue; that would be nowhere near gimmicky enough. Instead it's a bizarre textured affair, with the rumoured fad of a shirt-short colour mismatch unfortunately also proving correct. Anyway, the "collegiate blue" number could hardly be any more boring than the white affair United have been wearing on the road next season, and who knows, some of you may even like it.
