After months of speculation, veteran Swedish striker Zlatan Ibrahimović took to Instagram to confirm what we kind of already knew: he will be a Manchester United player next season.

The 34-year-old former FC Barcelona and AC Milan striker will join the Red Devils on a free transfer at the end of his Paris Saint Germain contract (which expires today).
Ibrahimović is now expected to travel to Manchester to complete a medical and put pen to paper on a one-year contract, reportedly worth £220,000 per week.
Ibrahimović’s announcement comes fresh of the back of United confirming earlier today that they will be playing a friendly against Galatasaray in Stockholm, Sweden, next month, as part of their pre-season preparations. Coincidence?
Despite his advancing years, Ibrahimović enjoyed his most productive campaign in Paris last season, scoring more than 50 goals in all competitions, as he helped PSG maintain their domestic domination.
Ibrahimović is expected to be joined shortly by the signing of Borussia Dortmund attacking-midfielder Henrikh Mkhitaryan, while United continue to pursue Juventus midfielder Paul Pogba.
