Manchester United have announced their provisional squad numbers for the 2016-17 season, and there are a few interesting changes.
Most notably, Anthony Martial will wear the number 11 jersey next season, with the number 9 that he previously wore being given to new signing Zlatan Ibrahimovic. And Adnan Januzaj, the last player to wear the number 11 shirt, will take the number 15.

There had been some speculation that Ibrahimovic would be taking the number 8 from Juan Mata, but the Spaniard has hung on to his squad number for the new season.
Other newcomers Eric Bailly and Henrikh Mkhitaryan, will wear the numbers 3 and 22 respectively.
Marcus Rashford has been given the number 19, Timothy Fosu-Mensah will wear 24, and Axel Tuanzebe has been allocated the number 38 shirt.
Among the non-allocated numbers associated with first-team positions is the number 2, which has not been worn since Rafael da Silva left the club last summer.
And perhaps more interestingly, the number 6 is vacant, which could soon be sported by a certain returning Frenchman . . . *cough* Pogba *cough*
