Though everything to pass through José Mourinho's lips over the last few weeks suggested Paul Pogba's arrival would be the last at Old Trafford this summer, the Reds are still being linked to a whole host of other players. The latest is Monaco's versatile young Brazilian, Fabinho, with Marca reporting that Mourinho has ramped up a long-standing interest "in the last hours."

Fabinho is a very good young player, and has blossomed under the management of Leonardo Jardim in Ligue 1. Having started off as a right-back, he has also featured fairly regularly in the centre of midfield, which is seemingly where the Monaco coach believes his long-term future lies.

Still, his arrival would certainly offer United some very useful versatility, and reinforce a position that could need added depth if the rumours of Matteo Darmian's departure prove true. However, at this stage, this one hasn't really gained much traction, and it'd still be a big surprise if it developed any further.
