It's press conference time! And it turns out that we were wrong. It turns out that although Henrikh Mkhitaryan is back in training, he will not be considered for Thursday's Europa League game against Zorya Luhansk. Also missing will be Luke Shaw, who is unwell. Wayne Rooney, meanwhile, has been struggling with a back problem but will be in the squad.

On the positive side, Anthony Martial has recovered from his battering at Watford and is back in contention. And Zlatan Ibrahimovic will start on Thursday night and Sunday against Stoke, as Mourinho looks for a win.

To be honest I think we have to win. If we don’t win, we have four matches and I would say we’d have to win all the last four matches, which is difficult so I think tomorrow is very important that we win the game.

Jesse Lingard also held forth on the Swedish striker:

He’s been a leader for the team, especially when the captain’s not playing. He’s stepped up and he’s really led the team. Obviously the young lads look up to him and most of the older ones do as well.

When you see the things he’s done in his career [you can’t help but be impressed]. He helps the young lads a lot. Especially me and Marcus [Rashford]. He’s always there for us and always there for the team.

Which all sounds lovely.
