New England manager "Big" Sam Allardyce elected not to pick Manchester United teenager Marcus Rashford for his first squad since taking charge of the Three Lions, and the young star has been displaying his skills in training with the England under-21 side to show the former Bolton Wanderers boss the error of his ways.
Allardyce reasoned that Rashford, having not started for United so far this season, would be better served getting 90 minutes under his belt with the under-21 side.
So, instead of taking part in England’s drab 1-0 victory over Slovakia on Sunday, Rashford will line-up for the under-21 side against their Norwegian counterparts tomorrow evening.
