Manchester United kick off their FA Cup defence at home to second-tier side Reading on Saturday. The Royals are sure to get a warm reception at Old Trafford, if only for the fact that they’re now managed by former United centre-back and general man mountain Jaap Stam.
The Dutchman has taken to management like a duck to water, and Reading are currently flying high in England’s second tier. They head into this match on the back of three straight victories, and are very much in the Premier League promotion hunt. They could well make life difficult for a strong United side.
