Cristiano Ronaldo has talked to Rio Ferdinand about potentially getting into boxing like Ferdinand has done. There’s absolutely nothing interesting about this, and there’s nothing interesting about football this week. The problem is that it’s international weekend and it feels like we’re all going to die of boredom. Ronaldo and Ferdinand were good at football for Manchester United though, so this is the kind of guff I’m reduced to.

Manchester United have banned Manchester United midfielder, Paul Pogba - who also plays for France and has played for Juventus - from playing basketball as they think that could be the reason for his problematic hamstrings. I’m not a scientist, but I am on the internet, and that gives me the right to launch into an ill-considered and uninformed rant about the whole thing, both for and against it.

United hope that Marcus Rashford will be given an easy time of things while on international duty. England are in a commanding position in the group table, and Rashford is one of their rare bright spots. It makes sense to give him the chance to get through the season in the best shape possible. It makes sense, but that means nothing anymore.

I have no idea why the press is dying anymore, or why nobody thinks the online press is credible, or why we’re all still trying to do this. A man has taught his kid to say some things. AMAZING.

Blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah. Romelu Lukaku has put in a not guilty plea. Football, come back!
