The draw for the third round of the FA Cup took place on Monday, and Manchester United were drawn at home to Derby County. The draw against the Championship side is a favorable one for the Reds, particularly with the added benefit of the home comforts of Old Trafford.

The last time these two teams faced off, United beat the Rams in the fourth round in 2016 on their way to winning the FA Cup under Louis van Gaal. We’ll be hoping for a similarly unfussy victory come January.
In other notable matchups, Liverpool will take on Everton in a tasty Merseyside derby cup tie - just imagine how smug Sam Allardyce will be if he knocks out Jurgen Klopp! - and Manchester City host a pesky Burnley team. Brighton & Hove Albion also host Crystal Palace in what is maybe England’s weirdest rivalry.
